Victoria Fortune

I enjoy writing in numerous genres, but autobiography is not one of them. I'd much rather write about other people and fictional characters. My passions are writing and theater because I love language, and dance, a language without words. I’m part southerner, part northerner, inspired by the past, intrigued by the future. My writing is grounded in character and setting, exploring how we are shaped by where and when we live and what endures over time. Revision is where my writing takes shape. I generate twice as much material as I need, then chisel away to find my stories.
